🎉 A successful outcome! 🎉 The SODISEES workshop, co-organised by industriAll Europe and Euromines brought together trade union and employer representatives in Stockholm to discuss Social Dialogue initiatives to enhance health and safety in the extractive industries. 👷♀️🤝👷♂️ 🔍 The workshop explored concrete initiatives addressing emerging challenges like automation 🤖, mental health 🧠, and climate change 🌍, with a shared commitment to improving collaboration and ensuring safe operations across Europe through continuous dialogue with trade unions. 🔄 💡 The event collected best practices 🏅 and tackled challenges ⚠️ at company, regional, and national levels, providing inspiration 💭 for improvements and future joint actions. 🤝 🍒 And the cherry on top: we visited the underground Zinkgruvan mine 🏞️⛏️ to see firsthand the role of social dialogue to improve health and safety strategies to protect underground workers! 🙌A huge thank you to our host IF Metall and Zinkgruvan Mining AB as well as to all participants for your valuable contributions 🙏 in strengthening Social Dialogue!
