Managers Who Actually Care ↳ Employees want managers who listen, coach, and care. Ditch the old command-and-control style for a mentoring and empowering approach.   8. A Sense of Purpose ↳ People want to do work that aligns with their values and gives them purpose. Communicate the company’s vision, and find opportunities to align employees’ passions with it.   9. Fair Pay and Benefits ↳ Employees NEED fair pay and purposeful benefits. Everyone loves a bit of pizza, but go beyond pay and pizza parties, and offer benefits that truly support people.   10. TRUST ↳ People want to work for someone they trust. They also want to be given the space to excel rather than be suffocated.   11. Feedback - Good and Constructive ↳ Feedback is how you grow. People want feedback but they want to know that their feedback and suggestions are being heard. 12. This international symposium was organized by Belgium (FANC - Federal Agency for Nuclear Control) and the U.S. (National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)) in Brussels, 5-7 March ☢ Help2Protect (H2P) is an Insider Threat Awareness and Program Development Training e-learning platform, which was created at the end of 2018 as the main deliverable of the EU-funded project AITRAP on Insider Threats. More info: https://lnkd.in/ed5rUbVX What makes Help2Protect special, is the fact that the team that took over are actual security practitioners who are closely and daily in touch with EU and International security organisations and decision-makers. They use their field experience to make the modules rich and real. Finally, they also have a deep understanding of the human psychology, as well as training and coaching experience.
