Hawaiian Turns 6! 🥳🌴 Wow, time flies when you’re making poke bowls! Six years ago, we started Hawaiian with a simple dream: make being healthy a little bit easier every day. And what a ride it's been! 🙌 From our first little spot (where we used to wash dishes between meetings) to now 45 locations, it's been an incredible journey 🙏 Fun fact: A few of our very first orders were from customers who thought ‘poké’ was short for ‘pokémon’… 😂 Not only did they still want their order when we cleared up the mistake, but they came back the next day and said, "Bowls over cards any day from now on." 😄 Safe to say, that’s when we knew we were onto something 😁 To all our amazing Hawaiian Tribe members and our beloved customers: you’ve been with us through every rice grain and avocado slice. Over the past few weeks, we've been busy testing out new ideas for our menu – and yes, we're focusing on adding some healthy options! While we haven't decided exactly what to add yet, we're thrilled to be doing taste tests with a variety of ingredients. As always, your feedback is key. We want to make sure whatever we add, it meets your expectations and tastes amazing! Today, we experimented with freeze-dried fruits, including freeze-dried banana and mango in Wijnegem shopping center. We can’t wait to hear what our customers think once we finalize everything!

We've been preparing to open for 20 days. Yes, you read that correctly. We had a little setback 20 days ago when we realized we needed more permits to officially open our doors in Amsterdam Bijlmerplein. Although our teams prepared the opening perfectly and did their jobs incredibly well, we just couldn't open at that time. But today was the day! The weather was nice, the people were in a great mood, and we had an amazing opening day. We may have had our longest line of people yet, all eager to try our bowls. Thank you for making this such an incredible day as we opened our second location in Amsterdam and our 45th restaurant overall.

These gluten-free, plant-based, and refined sugar-free treats are designed not only for those with allergies but also for anyone seeking a sweet dessert option. At Hawaiian, we believe it is important for everyone to build a strong connection with the core of the company in their first week: 'making healthy fast food accessible for everyone from every location in BE and NL'. To build this strong connection, everyone must experience a 'bowl day' in their first week. During this day, they work in one of our locations, making bowls, preparing ingredients, serving bowls, and so on. As the support office for the restaurants, we are responsible for supporting our employees. It is therefore essential to understand how our colleagues in the restaurants experience their days and how the support office can support them across different departments. We're thrilled to announce that we've officially opened our restaurant in Utrecht today! This marks our 6th location in the Netherlands and our 44th location overall. The interior has turned out beautifully, preserving the historic elements that make the space so unique. The audience was incredibly sweet, and we had a lot of fun celebrating this special day. Exciting News! Today, we proudly opened our second location in Liège, marking our 43rd restaurant opening!
