ABOUT H.ESSERS H.Essers was founded in 1928 by Henri Essers and has since become one of the leading companies in Europe for logistics services for sectors such as chemicals, pharma, infra and parts. In recent years, the company has experienced solid expansion thanks to organic growth and a number of strategic acquisitions. In 2022, H.Essers booked an annual turnover of 1,1 billion euros. The company currently has more than 1,300,000 m² of warehouse space, a fleet of 1.420 trucks, 4.060 trailers, 660 safeboxes and 2.160 ISO tanks. More than 50% of this fleet is multimodal. More than 7.500 people work at H.Essers, in 88 locations and 18 countries worldwide.     Our own six wind turbines, have generated an impressive 31 GWh of green electricity in 2023 — enough to power around 8,850 households. By producing our own renewable energy, we’re not only reducing our carbon footprint but also helping our customers do the same. We are proud to be a sustainable pioneer for the industry.     We’re making great progress on our new 65,000 m² state-of-the-art warehouse in Ringsted, at H.Essers Danmark ! This facility features cutting-edge infrastructure designed specifically for handling essential goods. We've implemented advanced safety standards with a strong focus on managing hazardous activities. Our warehouse is also equipped for the specialized handling of pharmaceutical products across various temperature ranges. Additionally, we offer custom solutions to meet your unique needs with precision. The finishing touches are underway, and we’ll already welcomed our first customer in December. This event spotlighted the “top-down” dimension of the WIL Consortium Plan, underlining how leadership drives essential change. We had enriching discussions on how leaders can bridge the gender gap, focusing on leadership purpose, cultural transformation, and role modeling. Highlights included a thought-provoking talk by Hilde Essers, an inspiring keynote by Michele Mees, and a compelling call for structural change by Anja Vanvelthoven.     Exciting things are happening at our Zeebrugge site! We're expanding and enhancing our facilities with a new depot dedicated to the safe and efficient storage of Dangerous Goods in isotanks. In addition, we're upgrading our infrastructure with a state-of-the-art heating installation to ensure optimal conditions for all operations.
