European Shippers' Council

European Shippers' Council

Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage

Non-profit European organisation representing cargo owners and fostering efficient and sustainable freight transport.

About us

European Shippers’ Council represents the logistics interests of more than 75,000 companies both SMEs and large multinationals - manufacturers, retailers, and wholesalers – in all modes of transport. Founded in 1963, ESC aims at creating a level playing field in Europe and between continents. By performing a central role in gathering vital intelligence and responding to current and future EU policy development, ESC is directly and continually promoting shippers' positions vis à vis the European institutions. Internationally, ESC works closely with the Asian Shippers’ Alliance (ASA) and the American Association of Exporters and Importers (AAEI), together forming the Global Shippers’ Alliance (GSA).
