Are you working in the #Offshore #Renewable #Energy 🌊 industry? 📢 We want to hear from you! The MARINERG-i project is a first step in forming an independent legal entity of distributed testing infrastructures (DRI) – a concept aims to bring together European Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) testing facilities, offering a one-stop-shop for technology testing and development, accelerating the development of the sector. As part of the preparatory phase, we want to hear from potential end users: technology developers, project developers, researchers, supply chain, investors... Tell us your views on what testing services you need from an ORE research infrastructure, now and in the future. 📝 Complete the short survey 👉 https://lnkd.in/dHRqaj8p #oceanenergy #offshorerenewables #research #innovation
Calling the Offshore Renewable Energy industry! Tell us what technology testing services you need from our research infrastructure, now and in the future! Ocean Energy Europe reposted this
CorPower Ocean is completing post-deployment inspections and a series of planned on-land upgrades, addressing key findings from operational data collected during the successful ocean deployment phase of its commercial scale C4 WEC (Wave Energy Converter). It follows the disconnection and retrieval of the C4 device after completing its first cycle of ocean commissioning in Aguçadoura, northern Portugal. Upgrades will address lessons learned, and systematically improve subsystems to increase operational range, power capacity and reliability. Moving forward, the C4 will be redeployed in Aguçadoura, before engaging in a new operational phase to demonstrate full power capacity including further advancement in control methods.
