    👨🚒👩🚒 Europe’s first line against wildfires is ready to respond.     This summer, we have pre-positioned Romanian firefighters in France to work and train alongside local brigades.      They are among more than 500 firefighters from 12 countries strategically pre-positioned in Europe’s most extreme predicted wildfire sites, including France, Greece, Spain, and Portugal.    As part of our rescEU reserve and European Civil Protection Pool, we are also deploying 28 airplanes and 4 helicopters across 10 EU countries.    Their mission is to bolster firefighting efforts and ensure the safety of the local communities.    This is #EUSolidarity at its best – an asset that benefits everyone.      Discover how 👉 https://europa.eu/!nPXNfY     #PreparednessSavesLives #EuropeanUnion EU in Emergencies

    The people of Ukraine are fighting an atrocious war, but at the same time they need hospitals, schools, and electricity to keep the country running.     Today, we disbursed nearly €4.2 billion to support Ukraine's macro-financial stability and the functioning of its public administration.     Ukraine fulfilled nine reform indicators linked to this payment.     These reforms cover:  📊 Public financial management  🏢 Governance of state-owned enterprises (SOEs)  💼Business environment  ⚡ Energy   ⚠ Demining     The EU remains Ukraine's largest international donor, and will continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes.     #StandWithUkraine
