The euro is a symbol of Europe’s unity and strength.     25 years ago, we dreamed it was possible.   Today, 20 countries later, that dream lives on.      We asked citizens of 🇧🇬, 🇨🇿, 🇭🇺, 🇵🇱, 🇷🇴, 🇸🇪 – the six countries committed to adopting the euro – what they think about the single currency.      Here are our findings:     💶 58% are in favour of their country introducing the euro;  💶 59% think that the common currency has had a positive impact on those countries already using it;   💶 53% believe introducing the euro would have positive consequences for their own country.     As these countries make strides towards joining the euro area, we are committed to supporting them throughout their journey.      Find out how these countries are progressing towards the adoption of the euro: https://lnkd.in/e_zQFifc     #EUROat25 #EuropeanUnion #Euro #Eurobarometer

Have you spotted any EU tag close to cultural sites?    Most probably, they were projects financed by our #CohesionPolicy which is focused on reducing the social and economic disparities within our Union.     One of its goals is to create local jobs at heritage sites and attract visitors to specific cities and locations. For example, it helped:    🇲🇹 restore the medieval Cittadella of Gozo  🇮🇹 recover a historical building seized from criminal organisations in Matera  🇫🇷 protect the biodiversity and ecosystem of the maritime area around Mont Saint Michel  🇸🇮 transform an old glass factory into a culture and arts centre in Ptuj    If you are visiting cities in the EU this summer, keep your eyes open and send us a photo of your favourite #EUfunded cultural site!    Follow EU Funds for more news about project supported by the EU in your region.    📷 Adobe Stock 1: Aerial view of the Citadel - capital city of Gozo island, by Karina Movsesyan; 2: Landscape view of the old town - Sassi di Matera by davidionut; 4: Panoramic view over Ptuj with a reflection in Drava River by katarzynapracuch  Gettt Images – 2: Mont-Saint-Michel at sunset by Fred Tanneau. #EuropeanUnion
