🚀 eFTI4EU enters the Piloting Phase! We are very pleased to announce that the #eFTI4EUProject is entering the #Piloting phase following over a year of hard work! With this significant achievement, the intensive planning phase of our #eFTI system testing across Europe comes to an end. The initiative features 8 international pilots within a framework of 20 pilot programs. These pilots will primarily focus on the #eFTIGate, while also incorporating economic operators and systems such as #eMSW. Full-scale #operations will commence in 2025, transitioning from national to international pilots. This will enable thorough testing of gate-to-gate data exchange capabilities, a critical step towards enhancing eFTI interoperability across Europe. 🤝eFTI4EU: Benefitting #businesses in #logistics #DidYouKnow? Unlocking the potential of mobility #data and supporting the #digital and #green transformation relies on a combination of EU policies and initiatives, including the eFTI regulation. The eFTI4EU project is a key player in this effort, primarily focusing on the authorities' aspect of the #eFTI exchange environment as outlined in Regulation EU 2020/1056. As part of the project, the eFTI Gate will be developed and implemented. It is a vital component of the electronic Freight Transport Information (eFTI) system. Beyond specifying the requirements, #eFTI4EU is actively developing the eFTI data exchange infrastructure, paving the way for a more efficient and sustainable future in freight transport.   Through proactive communication and dissemination activities, eFTI4EU raises awareness of the benefits of eFTI adoption and provides essential support for implementation. 🌍 #eFTI4EU Technical Experts Convene in #Helsinki for Key Discussions and Solution Finding On June 12-13, our #eFTI4EUProject team of technical experts gathered in Helsinki for an intensive two-day hybrid co-development meeting. This event was pivotal for our project, focusing on crucial aspects like #eFTI data, data models, interface exchange mechanisms, and the reference implementation. The creation of the eFTI Gate, a crucial part of the electronic Freight Transport Information (eFTI) system, is one of the meeting's major highlights. Assuring interoperability and system adaptability need this effort. Deep analyses into the register of identities and fundamental data components were discussed, highlighting the significance of accurate and dependable data management within the eFTI architecture. Additionally, eFTI4EU team was dedicated to creating also a robust testing process and environment: crucial for ensuring the quality, reliability, and effectiveness of the system before its full-scale deployment.
