The European Energy Research Alliance (EERA) helps coordinate public research effort to develop more efficient and cheaper sustainable energy technologies. EERA is the research pillar of the EU Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan), the EU strategy to accelerate the development and market uptake of key low-carbon technologies. Through our coordinated research programmes, EERA helps ensure that the resources invested each year in low-carbon technologies are spent on the best solutions.

  • 🚀The CONNECT-NM co-funded partnership on nuclear materials kicked off its inaugural meeting yesterday at CIEMAT in Madrid! 🤝 This meeting marks the official start of the partnership’s activities on nuclear materials, fostering connections with international organisations, associations, and other key stakeholders. 🎯 EERA’s objectives were prominently represented, featuring: 🗣️ Maria Luisa F. Vanoni, EERA’s Communications & Outreach Director, will discuss ‘Communication, Dissemination and Result Exploitation’ in tomorrow’s session covering transversal activities and call organisation. 🗣️ Ivan Matejak, EERA’s Director SET Plan & Strategic Programming, will share insights on EERA’s role and the potential for future collaboration during the session on the influence of platforms. 👀 Stay tuned for updates on the progress made during the CONNECT-NM kick-off meeting!
