Het gebouw is het sluitstuk van de herontwikkeling van dit gebied en heeft een bijzonder ontwerp met een speelse stapeling van volumes. Projectleider Guido Udema van VORM Bouw: “Dit gebouw staat op een unieke plek met uitzicht op de Maas. We zijn net als opdrachtgevers Blauwhoed en AM erg trots op deze eyecatcher aan het water.” De woningen variëren in oppervlakte, met de grootste penthouses van 200 m² en appartementen tussen de 50 en 150 m². The founders of CONIX RDBM Architects are the architects Christine Conix, Jorden Goossenaerts and Frederik Jacobs. Our organisation consists of a multidisciplinary team of 65 members operating from offices in Antwerp, Brussels, Rotterdam and Terneuzen. Because every project is unique, we do not focus on a specific building typology. Our extensive portfolio includes new buildings, reconstructions and renovations in the field of residential projects, care centres, government projects, schools, cultural projects, commercial buildings, offices, banks, industrial projects, but also property developments, masterplanning, interior design and product design. Our ultimate goal is to create architecture that offers an added value to its users as well as to the society as a whole. We want our architecture to be functional, flexible and aesthetic, for now and for the future. Since March 2017 CONIX RDBM Architects entered into a partnership with Lieve De Cock, LiPS –bridging Life.People.Space. Op 15 oktober 2024 nodigen A Architecture in Belgium en Bozar het Brusselse collectief Rotor uit voor een retrospectieve lezing. Deze lezing geeft de aftrap voor de tentoonstelling Entangled Matter, met films door Bêka & Lemoine, die gewijd is aan het onderzoek, de visie en de werking van Rotor. De expo werpt licht op de hedendaagse uitdagingen waarmee de bouwsector geconfronteerd wordt. Multi het circulaire project dat wij realiseerden in het centrum van onze hoofdstad werd beloond met een be.exemplary status. Dat was dan ook de directe aanleiding om een boek te maken waarin we het hele proces documenteerden aan de hand van foto’s van de bouw maar ook van de artefacten die we maakten alsook de digitale producten. Het boek dat we volledig in huis maakten bevat ook artikels van onder andere Kristiaan Borret en Valérie Vermandel.
