We are happy to be represented by Jordi Pont Rañé at the 2024 Automated Road Transportation Symposium (ARTS 24) in San Diego, CA (USA) next week. 👉 The challenges in #CCAM validation are connected to the lack of a common scenario-based approach for testing and assessment of automated vehicles. SUNRISE will conceive a unified approach to scenario databases and address the absence of safety assessment criteria for CCAM validation. Great to connect with the team for the CCAM SUNRISE project project to have a workshop on advancing the CCAM SUNRISE project Safety Assurance Framework (SAF). The SAF represents a harmonised approach to ensuring the safety of automated driving systems. At #TNO, we are committed to the scenario-based approach for the safety assurance of automated vehicles (#StreetWise). However, we recognize that collaboration is essential - no single organization (also #TNO 😉) can tackle this alone. Therefore, it is great to work with experts from across Europe on this important initiative. All over the world, companies and governments are preparing for the implementation of Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (#CCAM).
