Bridgestone and Maserati share a long-term partnership that’s seen Bridgestone custom engineer premium tyres for Maserati vehicles, including the MC20 super sports cars and the Grecale Trofeo. Our partnership is rooted in a shared passion for unlocking exceptional performance – and extends to the Master Maserati Driving Experience, for which Bridgestone is the official tyre provider. This role sees our bespoke Potenza Sport ultra-high-performance tyres take the outstanding Maserati line up to another level, giving guests the opportunity to unleash the full power of these Maserati sports cars in their natural habitat: the circuit.

Bridgestone Corporation has appointed Scott Damon to lead the West region (Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa). Scott will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, Bridgestone West; Group President, Bridgestone Americas; and Global Chief Digital Transformation Officer effective November 1, 2024. Earlier this month, we hosted some of Bridgestone EMEA's top banking partners at our R&D Centre in Rome for a first-ever Sustainability Banking Days event. Colleagues from across the business contributed to the two-day event, demonstrating that sustainability is truly embedded at the heart of our company and every function plays its part. In the case of Finance, that means ensuring our sustainability journey is underpinned by a comprehensive sustainable finance model. Collaboration and partnership with our banking partners is a critical component of its success. This is why we opened our doors – not just to showcase our achievements and progress to date, but also to share the challenges, in order to inspire, innovate and co-create a sustainable future together.

As we reflect on the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympic Games, we're incredibly proud to have recognised some of our most dedicated and high-performing employees from across the region with an unforgettable experience at in Paris! 🌍🏅 We welcomed 67 employees in total, who were invited across three waves to enjoy a two-day programme filled with excitement and inspiration. As a reward for their exceptional contributions, they had the chance to attend thrilling Olympic sports sessions, witnessing some of the world's best athletes compete in swimming, athletics, volleyball and more. They also experienced our Bridgestone Showcase in Paris, where we presented Bridgestone's history, our latest technologies and innovations to our guests – and where they could follow the action live! Beyond the Olympics, this event provided a fantastic opportunity for our team members to connect, share experiences, and build stronger relationships with colleagues from different locations and countries across EMEA. It was more than just a reward; it was a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and commitment that each of these employees brings to Bridgestone every day. The new Bridgestone Potenza Sport A ultra-high performance tyre has been chosen by AUDI AG as original equipment for the new Audi e-tron GT family.   Our latest bespoke tyre sets new performance standards, including an EU label A grade in rolling resistance for extended battery range. The custom-engineered tyre was developed with ENLITEN Technology to meet the Audi e-tron GT’s top performance demands without compromising on safety and sustainability.   The Potenza Sport A is Bridgestone’s first mass-produced tyre to incorporate 55% recycled and renewable materials, following certification from International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS.    The collaboration is the latest chapter in the long-standing Bridgestone-Audi partnership, with today nearly every fifth car that the manufacturer sells globally equipped with Bridgestone tyres.   Find out more: https://lnkd.in/eQeYXkmf

We’re happy to share that Yoshimura SERT Motul team has won the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship title – the world’s foremost series of endurance motorcycle races – on Bridgestone tyres.   This is the fifth time and the fourth consecutive year that a team using our premium Bridgestone Battlax tyres – engineered to provide high grip, durability, and comfort handling – has won the EWC title.   YAMALUBE YART YAMAHA EWC Official Team, another team supported by Bridgestone, came in second in this series.   Congratulations to our Bridgestone-sponsored teams and all competitors in this year's series!
