Yesterday, euregional actors in the life sciences and health domain gathered in Maastricht during the Health Innovation Euregion event. As in the previous two years, the focus of the event was on sharing experiences and success stories from start-ups in the #Euregion. This year, the second part of the event was dedicated to the ecosystems in the different regions and how they can support start-ups and established SMEs/companies. Roeland Buckinx, manager of Health Campus Limburg DC, nicely (as always) showcased the ecosystem and plans of Belgian Limburg. 🤝 Joining Forces for Better Healthcare 🤝 Today, UHasselt, Jessa Ziekenhuis, and Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg (ZOL) presented the achievements of their 2-year collaboration in the #SALKTurbo-project Digipath. This innovative project, financially supported by the Provincie Limburg (België), focuses on the digitalization of the pathology departments in the province to speed up and improve the accuracy of cancer diagnoses, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes. We’re also excited to announce a follow-up Interreg Meuse-Rhine (NL-BE-DE) project, extending the network across the borders in collaboration with the hospitals of Maastricht and Cologne. This next phase will foster cross-border cooperation, enabling us to share knowledge and resources to achieve even more significant advancements.
