Overal en altijd de juiste snelheidsinformatie op de weg, daar engageert Be-Mobile zich voor. In Vlaanderen werken we intens samen met Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer in het Mobilidata programma om de snelheden en restricties zo juist mogelijk te krijgen, op hoofdwegen én lokale wegen. Deze informatie komt rechtstreeks in apps zoals Flitsmeister. We nodigen alle steden en gemeenten dan ook uit om de verkeersbordendatabank actueel te houden. Snelheidsinfo toch niet correct? Stuur rechtstreeks vanuit de app feedback om een incorrecte maximumsnelheid of andere fout te melden. Deze feedback is anoniem en helpt de wegbeheerder snel een correctie toe te passen. Zo werken we samen aan de beste verkeersinformatie. 💪

Providing safe and speedy passage for emergency services benefits everyone. That's why we cooperate with Ambulancezorg Nederland and several other emergency services to share Emergency Vehicle Approaching warnings via our Be-Warned platform. Looking for warnings for active service vehicles, such as gritters, mobile roadworks, road inspectors, or fire trucks as well? We got you covered. All of these are available today in Flitsmeister, reach out if you want to integrate these warnings in your systems, too.
Over the weekend, I had my first personal Emergency Vehicle Approaching (EVA) experience🚑! The warning for the approaching ambulance was spot on🔥 and my wife had the time to make space safely! The downside of the TomTom office being next to Amsterdam Central Station🚉 is that I only drive a little. Even though I have been working on implementing this service in the TomTom app for years, and it has been out since June last year, only now I saw the warning in real life! Emergency Vehicle Approaching is a service initiated by Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat and provisioned via Monotch | We Make Traffic Talk. We have embedded these warnings in the TomTom Traffic Hazards product. If you drive around with our free AmiGO application, you can experience it yourself! It helps drivers make space, which is excellent for ambulance drivers because they can reach the incident faster and safer. Soon also other emergency services will be added, like fire trucks 🚒 driving with priority. 🚀 Not using AmiGO yet? Elk jaar telt de wegpolitie tot 400 spookrijders op de Belgische wegen, elke keer met mogelijks zware gevolgen. Door bestuurders die zelf aan het spookrijden zijn en naderende bestuurders direct te waarschuwen en heldere instructies te geven verminderen we het ongevalsrisico voor iedereen. Vandaag hebben Vlaams minister Lydia Peeters, Vlaams minister Jo Brouns, onze partner Bosch en CEO Jan Cools deze functionaliteit kunnen ervaren. Ze kregen een melding te zien van een (gesimuleerde) spookrijder en hebben ook zelf een spookrijder gemeld via de aangesloten apps, informatie die vervolgens breed wordt gedeeld. Gebruik Flitsmeister, Karta GPS of een van de voertuig modellen geconnecteerd met Bosch en ontvang zo alle relevante verkeersinformatie voor jou.
