Yesterday was the last day of transporting the wind turbines to Koraal Tabak. We are extremely proud of the entire team that made this transportation possible. A heartfelt thank you, on behalf of Aqualectra, NuCapital, the Police Force, Openbare Werken, Vestas, and Ter Linden, for your patience with us during the arrival and transportation process of the turbines. Let’s look back on this beautiful collaboration, which undoubtedly marks another historic moment in Curaçao’s sustainable progress.

📈 The Aspiravi Group's production volume increased 19% year-on-year, to almost 5,700 GWh. Last year's various realisations resulted in a significant increase of 55 MW in installed capacity ( 3%), which was fully utilised due to higher wind supply.   The Aspiravi Group continues to increase its impact on the energy transition and a sustainable future, thanks to the daily effort of all colleagues and stakeholders involved.💪 #EnergyTransition #RenewableEnergy #WindEnergy

Proud to be a partner in this project.

The arrival of the wind turbines in Curaçao is a crucial step toward securing a sustainable energy future for our island. After weeks of careful preparation, including necessary road adjustments, we are thrilled to welcome these state-of-the-art turbines. These turbines are more than just a technological advancement; they are key to achieving our ambitious energy goals. Once connected to Aqualectra’s grid, these turbines will enable Curaçao to reach a 50% sustainable energy penetration, drastically reducing our dependence on imported fuels, lowering electricity costs, and improving our trade balance. This is a vital part of Aqualectra’s broader mission to generate 70% of our energy from renewable sources by 2030, making Curaçao a sustainability leader within the Kingdom. This project also plays a significant role in addressing the challenges of climate change and supporting our island’s economic growth. The construction of the Koral Tabak wind park is possible thanks to the collaboration between Aqualectra, NuCapital Aspiravi, local banks, investors, and the Curaçao government. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved, including Ministers Cijntje and Cooper, for their unwavering support. As we finalize the transportation procedures, we want to express our gratitude for your cooperation. Together, we are paving the way for a greener, more sustainable future for Curaçao.

An unprecedented achievement for Aspiravi Spain.👉 Today the target of 25% local funding of the 'Sant Fruitós' solar project was realised, accounting for €600,000 invested by local residents!   🗣️ Iñaki Muñiz, Managing Director of Aspiravi Spain: "It is the achievement of a key milestone in the project execution and also proof that the business model is working: renewable energy projects creating added value for the local community."   Aspiravi Spain and local crowdfunding partner Fundeen are extremely proud of this accomplishment and hope to soon realize the predetermined amount of local funding for the 'Erica' solar project in Valladolid as well.🙏   #SolarEnergy #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTransition #Sustainability #CommunityInvestment #CleanEnergyFuture

Extraordinary images of an equally extraordinary project!🤩 The final straight line has been set for the NuKoraal Tabak wind farm as the large components arrived in Curaçao by ship last week. A spectacular and exceptional achievement, thanks to partners Aqualectra Utility - Curacao Water and Power and NuCapital, Inc.!   Meanwhile, the construction of the first of 5 new wind turbines has already started.👷 So we are still on track to get the new wind farm operational by the end of this year, generating at least 50% of Curaçao's electricity consumption from renewable energy sources.🌵   #WindEnergy #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTransition

🌊 Aspiravi is preparing for the tender for Princess Elisabeth Zone (PEZ) offshore wind concessions in the Belgian North Sea in a strategic consortium. By joining forces, Otary RS nv (of which Aspiravi is a shareholder) , OW Ocean Winds and Eneco can submit the most competitive bid and deliver state-of-the-art offshore wind farms, increasing their contribution to the Belgian energy transition.⚡ The consortium plans to participate in each of the three upcoming tenders for PEZ, the first of which is expected to take place in 2025. 👉 Aspiravi is currently involved in the operation of the offshore wind farms Northwind (70% shareholder) and as a shareholder of Otary RS nv within the Rentel and SeaMade offshore wind farms. #RenewableEnergy #OffshoreWindEnergy #WindEnergy #EnergyTransition

🌵 The new Aspiravi wind farm on Curaçao is gradually taking shape! Three of the five foundations are nearly finished and work is currently proceeding on the supply route and the crane surfaces. 👉 This means the wind turbines can be built once the first major components are delivered later this month. If everything goes according to schedule, the five Vestas wind turbines will be operational by the end of this year.🔌 #WindEnergy #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTransition

A wind turbine like many others, you think? Look again!👀 This Vestas V150 has been gracing the skyline along the E19 motorway in Hoogstraten since last year. With its axle height of 145 m and its blades of 75 m, it is the largest wind turbine in Aspiravi's extensive fleet of machines.   But size is not everything, of course.🤷 It is its annual energy production for about 4,600 families and avoided CO2 emissions of 7,700 tonnes that make this project impressive! 💚 As you see: every wind turbine makes a difference.   #RenewableEnergy #WindEnergy #EnergyTransition

Aspiravi is taking its leadership role in the energy transition also in terms of safety and operations.👷 For example by in-house developing an industry-innovative calculation model that maps the risk outline of ice fall.   🎯 Based on all kinds of project-specific factors and relevant input parameters the model calculates the chance around the windturbine where we can expect ice fragments to land.   We combine this information with the expected presence of a damage receptor within a specific zone near the windturbine to calculate the exact risk score for a given scenario.   As a result, concrete and data-driven recommendations can be made about the necessary measures to ensure a safe exploitation of the windturbine during winter conditions.❄️   The calculation model meets the strict Task-19 requirements and has been validated by leading certification body DNV and can thus be considered highly reliable and authoritative.   👌 Congratulations and thanks to Stijn Geldof, Bram Hantson, Elber Van Belleghem and colleagues for their innovative contribution to safe exploitation of our wind farms.   #WindEnergy #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTransition
