At the recent AECM Annual Event, Economic Policy Director Gerhard Huemer chaired a crucial discussion on the challenges facing SME finance today. The panel, featuring insights from Sébastien de Brouwer (EBF), Milena Angelova (SME Envoy Bulgaria and EESC Employer's Group), and Simona Grobelnik (Slovenian Enterprise Fund), explored solutions to combat high interest rates, tightening lending conditions, and over-indebtedness of SMEs.
