  • Earlier this week, we asked which EU country has the most EV chargers. 71% of you got it right: the Netherlands! 🎉 In 2023, the Netherlands led with 144,453 chargers, followed by Germany with 120,625, and France with 119,255. In fact, over 60% of public charging points in the #EU are in these three countries. More public charging points = more electric cars! Germany, the Netherlands and France, which rank among the top three in terms of the highest number of chargers, also demonstrate some of the largest market shares for battery electric cars. Ensuring plenty of convenient public charging spots across Europe is crucial for encouraging more people to make the switch 🚗⚡

  • Get ready for a fun twist of inception as the ACEA Social Media Manager dives into her own story for this episode of #WhatDoYouDoWednesday! Hi there! I'm Nadia Chergui (she/her), the person behind the social media channels for ACEA. My mission? To spotlight the key issues of our industry and keep our audience in the know. I like working in social media because it's all about connecting people and ideas in the most engaging and accessible ways. I enjoy the creative side of communication, and I'm lucky to be part of a dynamic team that brings brilliant ideas to life behind the scenes. I started my journey with ACEA in April this year, and from day one, I felt warmly welcomed by the entire team. As I continue to settle into my role, I'm excited to meet our members and dive deeper into the incredible and innovative world of the automotive industry. In my spare time I enjoy music, animals, books, detective series, and the theatre 🎵 🐈 📚 🕵♀️ 🎭
