Vandaag 'Dag van de Customer contact medewerker'! Customer contact medewerkers krijgen steeds meer te maken met agressieve klanten. Om deze uitdagende job in de bloemetjes te zetten, organiseerde de sectorfederatie Customer Contact & CXForum vandaag een event waarop CEO's van o.a. Proximus, Colruyt, Engie en Randstad hun eigen contact center agents opbelden om hen te bedanken. Er werd ook een video gelanceerd om de vooroordelen te ontkrachten over de werknemers. Volgens de Employer Brand research van Randstad is de sector op 5j tijd spectaculair gestegen van de 17de naar de 4de plaats van de meest aantrekkelijke sectoren om te werken.

We celebrated Astro Bot's launch on PlayStation 5 with a social campaign featuring online hunt challenges on owned channels. Leading up to the launch, we showcased their new mascot in unexpected, recognizable locations across the Benelux, highlighting Dutch and Belgian local culture. ‘Reporters’ visited these spots, demonstrating how main character Astro surprises with fun real-life activities (e.g. pinguins, climbing and wood chopping) tied to gameplay from the demo. It's time for the traditional January predictions: here is our selection of PR trends in 2024! 1. AI: from experiment to standard implementation AI has made the predicted meteoric rise in PR and journalism. Along with the more targeted use of AI, human creativity and originality becomes more important to deliver newsworthy stories. It's 1 1 approach. 2. More analytics Increased usage of analytics to predict future trends and campaign performance. 3. VR and AR in PR VR and AR are not new (immersive press conferences in VR and a product launch with an AR application), but possibly the applications as a PR tool will break through in 2024. 4. Long term collab influencers Brands will engage in more long-term collaborations with creative content creators. Influencers who are too commercial will be featured less and less. 5. The end of CSR PR Where in previous years it was a trend that allowed you to stand out and differentiate yourself, now it is incorporated and expected anyway. It wil no longer be used for short-term project-based communications. 6. AI influencers AI is giving the trend a boost. Will it create a completely new generation of influencers? Human and AI influencers will coexist and complement each other with their own strengths. 7. Escapism Readers are most interested in positive news (55%) and stories that offer solutions (46%). We hosted the launch event of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 at Kinepolis Antwerp. Media, influencers, Marvel fans and gaming communities were invited to celebrate all together. The goal was to appeal not only to gamers, but also to a mainstream audience: Spider-Man as a pop culture phenomenon. Adil El Arbi and William Boeva gave a cool demo and discovered the game together on the big screen. Finally, there were interesting panel discussions on the evolution of superheroes with key personalities from the movie and gaming industry such as Adil, Obi Mundorff, Game Kast, Stephan Streker, Chloé Live and Jean Gréban.
