CFA Society Bangladesh organized its annual Charter Award Ceremony at Lakeshore Hotel on October 31, 2024. 26 new CFA Charterholders received their charter certificates from the Chief Guest, Mr. Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, Chairman, Sonali Bank PLC. Mr. Abu Daiyan Mohammad Ahsanullah, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Industries, conducted a session on macro and fiscal management & Mr. Md. The board members of CFA Society Bangladesh met with Mr. Rashed Maqsood, Chairman of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), along with esteemed Commissioners Mr. Md. Mohsin Chowdhury, Mr. Md. Ali Akbar, and Ms. Farzana Lalarukh at BSEC Head Office to present their recommendations on the capital market. The BSEC chairman shared his vision for the Bangladesh Capital Market which focuses on improving market integrity, investor protection, new product development etc. CFA Society Bangladesh has expressed its interest to work alongside BSEC and the newly formed task force to work for the development of the capital markets.
