So for Maizono"s swimsuit event, what did you think about her reaction to Naegi"s reaction to her swimsuit? Why was she so concerned about his opinion on it?
Thank you for good question. This had me thinking quite a bit.
Throughout the game, Maizono strives to be everyone’s ideal idol and works very hard for it. She asks Shinguji to recommend her some books so that she can add depth to her performance, she tries singing genre that she usually didn’t, she goes around and ask beauty tips to the girls, she asks Harukawa advice on how to cooperate with children because she wants to contribute to idol industry by helping younger girls. She’s very sincere in what she does.
And since having a pleasing appearance is part of her profession, I think she couldn’t help being concerned when Naegi couldn’t really answer how she looked.
But this doesn’t mean there’s no personal feelings behind it. When Souda complimented Maizono’s swimsuit, her reaction was polite and modest. But when Naegi did, she looked very happy.
Naegi’s reaction is worth noting too, I think.
I’ll come back to this later. My laptop’s been down three times while I was writing this.

I"ve recently done Tsugumi"s Swimsuit event in HDS and something"s bugging me. Sayaka mentioned that her PARENTS gave her a dress, but I"m pretty sure she said in THH that she didn"t know her mother, so why are parents in plural? You seem to know the Japanese version, so is this some translation issue or the writers just forgot Sayaka"s backstory?
It’s translation issue. In Japanese version, Maizono merely states that she got the idol dress as a present, but she didn’t say who gave it to her.
So far, I’m satisfied with the official translations.
Is it not december 3rd yet there in US?

Kind of curious what Maizono wants to do when she grows up given her conversation with Kuwata in DRS.
Considering all the other events shown so far, she’s intending to do idol as long as situation allows. If you have the game, I highly recommend watching Maizono’s event with Shinguji and her rarity U event!

So, Maizono tells Saihara that among her fans, there’s a person who predicts her group’s future correctly every time on SNS. She asks Saihara to guess who that person is. She had asked Hagakure already and he’s not the one.
And I’m still searching for the answer. If anyone ever gets the answer, please do tell me.

which maizono interactions do you think are your favorite so far in danganronpa s?
I’ve seen 31 events where Maizono appears so far,
and I really can’t choose one. So many of them are so good.
I’m happy that they went deep with her character and covered her thoughts about her career in-depth.
Her conversation with Kotoko left me quite an impression though.
I thought Maizono’s interaction with Aoi was cute too. Or Ibuki&Akamatsu&Maizono too.
Junko&Naegi close friends conversation
Junko: Aah, I swim, I swim. And I win, it’s so boring.
Naegi: Enoshima-san… you’re really awesome. Someone who does model for a work has so much stamina compared to looks… *
Junko: Ah, does it look bad? Me, swimming for hours even though not being a swimmer looked bad?
Naegi: No… I think keeping the body in shape is hard, and I was wondering if it was standard to exercise that much.
Junko: I’m perfect without doing things like this though! Well, I just tried it because I had spare time.
Junko: Aah… Really, I can’t help it with my free time. It feels so empty without what I hope to do.
Naegi: There isn’t… what you hope to do?
Junko: I got despairly bored of things keeping centering around me. There is an unpredictable heart-pounding future waiting for me… there used to be.
Naegi: I, is that so…
Naegi: I don’t mean to show off while not knowing much but… I think it’ll be alright if it’s Enoshima-san. Enoshima-san is, always bright and strong… and is smart.
