SOCAR Head Office is looking for a Lead Procurement Engineer for Department of Procurement Services of Major Capital Projects. Main job responsibilities: 🔸 Coordinate the execution of Tender Processes for the relevant services; 🔸 Support team to develop and update approved service provider list; 🔸 Review and comment (as per relevant discipline) on procurement registers such as list of planned tenders, and the list of currently executed contracts; 🔸 Review and comment on Yearly Performance Report of Execution of Service Tenders and Contracts; 🔸 Support the team to develop and update service rates database; 🔸 Participate in periodical audits conducted among procurement teams at SOCAR and subsidiaries. Job requirements: 🔸 Bachelor’s degree in related fields; 🔸 Minimum 5 years related work experience; 🔸 Understanding of tender processes and procurement work principles; 🔸 Understanding of engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, civil, process) ) are an advantage; 🔸 Advanced user of MS Office (especially Excel and Power Point); 🔸 Analytical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, decision making, agility; 🔸 Fluency in Azerbaijani and English.
