Three years ago, AWS made a 10-figure infrastructure investment in New Zealand. today AWS has announced a landmark $1.3B investment to build a top-secret cloud infrastructure for Australia's defense and intelligence agencies. The TS Cloud project will span three facilities and is set to create up to 2,000 local jobs over the next decade. The TS Cloud will enhance information sharing, interoperability, and collaboration with the United States, while bolstering the resilience of Australia's tech infrastructure. AWS’s commitment to renewable energy will also power this project, underscoring their sustainable approach.
