You’re leading a diverse team. How can you make sure everyone’s voice is heard?
We are all different and act differently at times. Our culture, different upbringing. Whether it’s nature or nurture every experience shapes us. When managing teams we need to understand just because someone does not say something it does not mean they don’t have something to contribute. They may rather listen and then think and come back or they may be observing the dynamics and weighing up whether they should or if it’s worth contributing. We have all been in places where we think, it not worth me adding to this, it won’t make a difference. For more non dominated personalities or potentially cultures that respect authority and face of important you have to find other ways to enable these people to feel comfortable contributing.

You're feeling overwhelmed at work. How can you use self-care to improve your productivity and well-being?
Stress can be a good thing to drive our productivity, but too much of it can reduce our productivity both short and long-term. I have experienced this and still continue too, which I don’t suffer from chronic anxiety my partner and many friends do and they have proactive ways of managing it. Self care is key to happiness and sustained success. The people who focus on their self care offer are the post productive and successful as they made time for it. It enable you to work smarter not harder. Sometimes we need a circuit breaker or changing one small thing. Going to bed early, doing yoga or a meditation, ice bath or cold shower. It could be as simple as putting your gym clothes out the night before. 1% difference add up.
