    At the height of the resources boom in Western Australia the headcount of the Perth IKEA store needed to increase by over 50% to manage the new Innaloo store. Almost 200 positions were recruited for and each one was filled within the training timetable and the store opened full staffed on time.

    Innovative advertising campaigns and recruitment processes including adverts on the back of buses and assembly of IKEA products brought a sense of quirky fun to the process aligned to the IKEA…
