    What’s your secret sauce?

    To be able to formulate, execute and sustain a successful #cloudtransformation takes a lot more than just good luck.

    I was recently asked by a global board member “What’s your secret sauce?”. I openly and honestly replied, “lots of hard work, sound strategic partnerships, a paradigm shift in mindset and capability, a proven approach in execution with a relentless focus on organisation engagement”. There was no mention of technology, platform or tools…

    What’s your secret sauce?

    To be able to formulate, execute and sustain a successful #cloudtransformation takes a lot more than just good luck.

    I was recently asked by a global board member “What’s your secret sauce?”. I openly and honestly replied, “lots of hard work, sound strategic partnerships, a paradigm shift in mindset and capability, a proven approach in execution with a relentless focus on organisation engagement”. There was no mention of technology, platform or tools. Yes, they are important and acknowledged accordingly, however not critical to the secret sauce.

    The 21st Century has seen a proliferation of disruptive
    technologies and terminologies, overlaid with increased
    vendor rhetoric and hype. If implemented correctly, there
    is no doubt that many of these technologies and thought
    leadership breakthroughs can reduce vulnerabilities and
    enhance business performance. However, in many cases,
    execution and sustainability fall woefully short.
