About

From my 23 years in OHS, I know that every H&S Manager feels overwhelmed, overworked and under-resourced.

They're caught in the daily grind and feel like they’re not making meaningful change.

They know there are gaps in key management systems and the frontline workers are not fully trained.

They’re frustrated because they don’t have the budget to get everything done, and getting additional budget is impossible.

In relation to their fatality prevention programs they feel;

• Exposed due to their potential legal liability
• Concerned about the number of activities that are overdue (e.g. BBRA) or have not been completed (Bowtie Analysis)
• Frustrated by other Managers not doing what they need to do.

If they could wave a magic wand, they would have their SHMS updated and a comprehensive Fatality Prevention program implemented tomorrow with the journey requiring only a light touch from themselves.

That’s the outcome we deliver.

We provide the knowledge bank, industry veterans and streamlined process to implement fatality prevention and SHMS improvement projects in far less time and significantly less stress than if they had of done it themselves.

Some examples to support our claim;

2022 > 2024 | Oz Minerals (Now BHP) | Critical Risk Management Project
• We developed and implemented fundamental documents and processes
• Broad Brush Risk Assessment, Bowtie Analysis x 40, Critical Control Performance Standard x 40, CRM Training Sessions.

2021 > 2022 | Aquila Mine | Anglo American | SHMS Project
• Readied the SHMS to transition from Project site to Operating Site.
• All Risk Assessments, Bowtie Analysis, SOPs, PHMPs, Procedures, etc.

2019 > 2022 | Moranbah North Mine | Anglo American | SHMS Project
• Long term project to review and improve SHMS.
• Weekly cycle of drafting, reviewing and completing SHMS documentation (Risk Assessment, Procedure, Template, Form) for a specific top

2019 > 2020 | Hail Creek Mine | Glencore | SHMS Project
• We transitioned the entire SHMS from Rio Tino to Glencore.
• All Risk Assessments, Bowtie Analysis, SOPs, PHMPs, Procedures, Permits, TARPs, Forms, etc.

There are two choices to improve your health and safety systems and strategies.

You can do it the slow way by going it alone which will take you several years and won’t be to the same level of quality, or you can do it with me where we guarantee results.
