About

I'm Briar Harte, and my work is geared towards changing the way business is done, making mainstream services more accessible, and creating better human and commercial outcomes.

As an experienced professional in Accessibility and Customer Experience (CX), I’m known for my transformative work across industries, including telecommunications, energy, and market research. My goal is to always bring a unique blend of strategic leadership, empathy, and high energy to delivering significant commercial and cultural outcomes.

At nbnco, I led a rapid uplift in accessibility maturity across the enterprise centred around our public Accessibility and Inclusion Plan. This has significantly improved nbn's capability and capacity to support accessibility and compliance. My approach incorporates a vibrant and engaging leadership style alongside deeply collaborative change, ensuring that solutions are inclusive and practical. I leave a legacy of people at all levels who are aware of and make decisions in support of a more accessible world.

I enjoy speaking, writing and advocating on the topics of digital inclusion, community building, lived experience and the importance of making mainstream services accessible. I learn out loud and seek to amplify the voices of accessibility and disability advocates, sharing my knowledge and experiences to inspire others towards a more accessible and inclusive world. Here on LinkedIn, I’m a top community voice for Culture Change, Social Impact and Customer Experience and publish a weekly newsletter, Mostly Unlearning.

Let's connect and explore how we can collaborate to create meaningful and lasting transformations in accessibility and customer experience. Together, we can make a positive impact and pave the way for a more inclusive future.
