    Activities and Societies: At university, she was repeatedly elected to represent Indonesia in various international forestry events. She also conducted internships and comparative studies in several European countries before and after graduating in 1994.

    Aida Greenbury was born in a city known as the cultural centre of Indonesia, Yogyakarta. From childhood, she had been raised as a forester by her father, a highly respected forestry expert and the first person granted a forestry economics professorship by the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

She’s been even more active as an advisor in several organizations, including Mongabay, the multi-commodity No Deforestation initiative High Carbon Approach, and the German GIZ, as well as speaking at industry events such as Shanghai Pulp Week.
