Zonely hit up Cammeray Golf Club for our "Last Sunday of the Month Ambrose" teams event on the weekend. ✨ Ambrose or "Scramble" is played from the best ball in a foursome. It's a format that anyone can play, and that's how charity and corporate golf days are often played too. Zonely partner Lane Cove Golf Course is going through a massive renovation, including a multi-sport facility upgrade, a brand new club house and a transition to being an epic community place-maker for the area. 🙌🏼 But the golf course is still open and they have finished all of the updates to the 9 hole layout! ❤️ We love playing this fun but tough little track, especially those members who love the Ambrose teams format! You hit your ball into the gully on the difficult par 3, no worries! When we talk inclusion, people often get thrown, unsure if an experience is 'for them'. 🤔 All it means is that everyone is welcome, respected and encouraged. No matter who you are, how you identify, and in Zonely's case, how much experience you have playing golf! 🏌️♀️ The short answer is, in our community, none of it matters. ❤️ It's great to see that men are self selecting into our inclusive, friendly and fun social golf club. In fact, they outnumbered our women at our recent trip to one of our favourite venues, Long Reef Golf Club! 😍 And we had FIVE NEW MEMBERS that day. Talk about growth! 📈 We are playing Bexley Golf Club for the first time this Sunday. And our next Ambrose Event is Sunday 29th September which is a good way for beginners to feel relaxed as we play in groups and from the best ball each shot. 👏🏼 Want to come along? WE WON THE GRANT, FAM! 🚀 After all the asking, the begging and the reminding to check your junk mail 😅 Zonely was chosen by SPARK Business as the Round Four judges winner, taking home $5k to put towards our business and grow our impact! 📈 "The $5k is a judge awarded vote and the judges feedback was that Alicia knew her numbers, painted a complete picture of what she's been able to achieve so far in business and was clear about the impact the $5k would have on taking her business to the next level." 😍 This win was voted for purely on merit and impact, so we are thrilled. 🤩 We've already put the cash to good use in our business operations, marketing and software costs! 💰 Thank you to the judges and to Danielle Lewis for the opportunity. Giving female founders like Alicia a financial leg-up without needing matched funding and the flexibility to choose where we spend the grant within our business. 🙏 If you're a female business owner, there is 24 hours left to get your application in for the August grant round.
