What a ride last week was! 🚀 Hit major milestones with YarnnUp and switched from business mode to epic uncle duties. Music, laughs, and family - the perfect mix. This week's excitement? Our founders are hitting South Australia! Can't wait to see the magic we'll create with their insight. Bring it on! #YarnnUp #FoundersInSA #NewAdventures #FamilyAndWork

Crazy week alert! ✈️ Just landed back from Brisbane after YarnnUp and our incredible partner and friends at the BlackCard, rocked some major client meetings. One's set to launch us onto the global scene! The other? A fantastic initiative that's all about supporting parents. We're all about mixing things up and leaving a mark! Now, it's time to switch from corporate mode to uncle vibes because The Weeknd's playlist is the soundtrack to my babysitting gig. Yep, you got it! I've gone from the boardroom to chasing around my two adorable nieces and nephews, tunes blasting and laughing non-stop. It's been a rollercoaster of professional wins and priceless family moments. Here's to loving what we do, who we're with, and making every second awesome! #YarnnUpJourney #GlobalImpact #familyfirst #WorkLifeHarmony #cherishedmoments Ray Alam, MPHHSM Mundanara Bayles AFHEA MAICD Elle Blacklock

In celebration of Mardi Gras, we honour our founder, William Trewlynn, MoIBL whose leadership in last year's parade exemplified joy and unity within the LGBTQ community. His commitment to diversity and inclusion enriches our organisation's culture, reminding us of the importance of balance between work and celebration. As Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras festivities illuminate the great city of Sydney, we stand with William and the LGBTQ brother boy & sister girl community, embracing diversity, resilience, and love, wishing everyone a magical and safe celebration. Let's carry forward the spirit of unity and pride in all we do. Happy Mardi Gras from all of us at YarnnUp🌈 #MardiGras #Pride #Leadership #Inclusion #lgbtqcommunity

This time last year, I was surrounded by the vibrant colours and joyful spirit of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, an experience enriching my heart in many ways. Leading the parade at the festival and for WorldPride was an honour beyond words, a moment of unity and celebration for our LGBTQ community that I hold dear. Fast forward to today, my life takes a different turn towards an exciting, albeit massive, week at work. The contrast highlights the diverse aspects of life we juggle, from professional responsibilities to moments of pure celebration and pride. To my LGBTQ brother boys and sister girls, I carry the spirit of last year's Mardi Gras with me. Your support, resilience, and love never cease to amaze me. Here's to acknowledging our past joys while embracing the challenges and triumphs ahead. Good luck this weekend, my people! Special shoutout to my sister and good friend Jinny-Jane Smith for always holding it down and showing up for community! #Reflections #MardiGras #Pride #WorkLifeBalance #LGBTQCommunity #Gratitude

When our flight from Mount Gambier was cancelled, we, faced a 5-hour drive to Adelaide head-on. What seemed like a travel hiccup transformed into a marathon strategy session and a valuable catch-up opportunity for Ray and I, We had in-depth conversations about YarnnUp’s future while travelling along picturesque routes, from Mount Gambier to Adelaide, which served as our makeshift boardroom. 🛣️💭 We learned from this experience that the key to a successful trip is to look on setbacks as opportunities for improvement and new ideas. Here's to finding the silver lining and driving forward together in every situation. 🚀 #resilience #TeamBonding #StrategicGrowth #AdaptAndOvercome

Yesterday, the esteemed staff of LGBTIQ Health Australia participated in an influential full-day cultural education session that YarnnUp was privileged to facilitate. This session served as a critical juncture in our expedition, as it brought together Western theories and Aboriginal philosophies, placing particular emphasis on cultural and emotional intelligence. Throughout the day, we explored the deep connections between cultures, engaging in meaningful dialogues highlighting the significance of understanding, respect, and collaboration. The session was exceptionally enhanced by the board and key staff of LGBTQ Health Australia, whose astute observations and dedication to inclusiveness exemplified the essence of collaboration and mutual development. This partnership exemplifies YarnnUp's overarching objective of empowering communities using interweaving wisdom and culture, promoting transformation and enhanced comprehension. We are deeply honoured to have established this collaboration with LGBTQ Health Australia, and we eagerly anticipate furthering our shared mission of promoting cultural sensitivity and understanding among diverse communities. #indigenous #indigenousPhilosophy #socialchange #empowermentjourney #CulturalEducation #InclusionDiversity #culturalintelligence #emotionalintelligencecoach #YarnnUp #LGBTQHealthAustralia

At The Adecco Group, we believe in making the future work for everyone. Central to this mission is our dedication to embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our RAP represents more than just a plan, it is a formal commitment and a crucial first step in our reconciliation journey. We recognise that our operations span the traditional lands of First Nations peoples, and we are committed to addressing the disparities faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. While we celebrate these achievements, we acknowledge that there's more to be done. I am personally committed to championing the RAP and leveraging my position to challenge systemic barriers and foster sustainable social change. We would like to express our gratitude to our partner, YarnnUp, for their invaluable support and guidance in the launch of our Reflect RAP.
