Delivering on our growth strategy. Quarterly production was 44.4 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe) and we remain on track to achieve full year production guidance of 185-195 MMboe. A significant milestone was marked in June when our major project in Sangomar achieved first oil. “The first oil from our Sangomar project offshore Senegal was a significant milestone, delivering against our growth strategy. Subsequent to the quarter, we achieved peak gross rate of 75,000 barrels per day and production ramp-up continues as planned. The addition of Sangomar to Woodside’s portfolio will deliver enduring shareholder value and significant economic benefits for Senegal, “ said Woodside CEO Meg O’Neill. Work on other major growth projects continued with the Scarborough Energy Project now more than two-thirds complete and on target for first LNG cargo in 2026. And subsequent to Q2, we entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Tellurian and its US Gulf Coast Driftwood LNG development. This acquisition positions Woodside to become a global LNG powerhouse and fits strongly with our strategy to thrive through the energy transition. Woodside welcomes today’s statement from Australian Industry Group (Ai Group) and others which acknowledges that the Australian Energy Market Operator’s Integrated System Plan (ISP) “is the best roadmap we have for the National Electricity Market.” The ISP “confirms that renewable energy connected with transmission and distribution, firmed with storage, and backed up by gas-powered generation is the lowest-cost way to supply electricity to homes and businesses as Australia transitions to a net zero economy.” Like Ai Group, Woodside believes Australia needs a “certain, credible and consistent policy framework” for our energy systems. We remain ready to work with governments, industry and communities to urgently implement policy settings that will ensure all Australians have access to reliable supplies of gas and energy. Energy is crucial for our day-to-day lives. The Next Generation School Program aims to educate our next generation of leaders on the importance, benefits and impacts of energy in schools across Western Australia. The Program currently has more than 1,600 students from 29 schools participating. Due to its take-up, it has recently been extended to 12 regional schools including Karratha, Dongara, Jurien Bay, Busselton, Geraldton, Morawa and Northam. This innovative program is sponsored by Woodside Energy and implemented by the Energy Club WA and allows Year 8 - 10 students to learn firsthand about the energy industry in a fun and interactive manner. Included in the program are four scheduled mentor visits to each school, an end-of-year student expo and a fifth optional visit where students are given the opportunity to play Woodside’s Energy Transition Game. The game, played in the classroom, demonstrates the complexities of providing energy to the world and the challenges in transitioning to a low carbon energy market.
