Her ancestors are calling 🌊   Auli'i Cravalho (Moana) and Dwayne Johnson (Maui) made a big splash at Disney's D23 fan event teasing the highly anticipated sequel to Moana with a new extended trailer of her next great odyssey.   Cravalho said when we meet the Disney heroine again, she spends her time searching nearby islands in hopes that there just might be more people beyond the waters she’s sailed. Johnson called this the most exciting journey yet, and an empowering tale of having the guts to go for more.   The 2016 debut film proved to be a major hit for Disney, raking in over $680 million at the global box office. The animated musical then found a new wave of popularity on Disney , amassing 1 billion hours of streaming last year. Blake Lively paid homage to the one and only Britney Spears at the It Ends With Us world premiere in New York last night. Lively appeared on the pink carpet at the AMC Lincoln Square Theatre, reviving Spears’ 2002 vintage Versace butterfly dress adorned with sequin flowers. Of course, Lively’s ever supportive husband Ryan Reynolds attended with Hugh Jackman in tow, just as Lively supported their Deadpool & Wolverine bromance a few weeks ago. Supporting cast members Brandon Sklenar, Jenny Slate, and Hasan Minhaj were also present, along with director Justin Baldoni, who also stars in the film. Author Colleen Hoover, the mind behind It Ends With Us, also attended the Bloom-themed evening. Based on the best-selling novel by Hoover, the film tells the story of Lily Bloom (Lively) as she falls for charismatic neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni). But when Lily's first love Atlas Corrigan (Sklenar) suddenly re-enters her life, everything changes. It Ends With Us releases in cinemas tomorrow.
