We're delighted to introduce our new line of lifestyle wines, Drop of Sunshine, to the world! Debuting at the Hello Sunshine #ShineAway2024 event this week, Drop of Sunshine is a carefully curated wine focusing on fostering authentic connections and riveting storytelling.     Inspired by Hello Sunshine’s mission to shine a light on where women are now and empower them to chart a new path forward, Drop of Sunshine is a toast to women, their connections, and the stories that bring women together.    “We are thrilled to work alongside Hello Sunshine who elevates women’s voices and ensure our stories are heard. Wine is all about connection and is a fantastic platform for sharing special moments and storytelling. Our Drop of Sunshine team collaborated with Hello Sunshine to create a line of engaging and vibrant wines that tell a story about the journeys that shape who we are and celebrate the drops of joy we feel along the way,” said Sarah Steffanci Bakx.    Our team at TWE found the ultimate partner in Hello Sunshine after recognising an opportunity for an authentic, female-focused wine brand. It's the result of a true collaboration, created with care to inspire bright moments of celebration and connection. Drop of Sunshine launches with six varietal offerings in the US and Australia.  Read more: https://lnkd.in/gATdjdwV

We’re always looking for opportunities to integrate artificial intelligence across our business in ways that support our strategic priorities and add value. We recently collaborated with the team at GPTStrategic - Generative AI-powered Solutions to develop a solution using GenAI to help us distill our consumer data into valuable insights and Mooning to bring them to life. The output? Our new AI Agents Aivi and Viti! Unique to TWE, Avi and Viti are powered by our research data and allow us to efficiently analyse and interpret the information to ensure our strategies are informed by rich consumer insights. We put consumers at the heart of everything we do at TWE, and it’s something that’s always front of mind in our decision making. The initiative was driven by Adele Felsch and her team, who was recently recognised at the 2024 TWE Annual Awards, taking home the Innovation Award for her work on this project. Check out the video below to hear more about how the project came to life and how we’re harnessing the value of this technology 👇 #ArtificialIntelligence #Innovation #Insights

This year's harvest is well underway across our wineries in the northern hemisphere. Our teams are picking fruit from France and Italy, all the way to the United States. At DAOU Mountain in California the team are thrilled to kick off the season in style with DAOU Vineyards Founder and Chief Winemaker, Daniel Daou, officiating the harvest celebrations with some artful sabrage. This year saw plenty of winter rainfall with a total of 21 inches replenishing the soils and promoting robust canopy development. Temperatures were mild through the Californian spring and early summer, followed by a steady warming trend starting in early July, allowing the fruit to shape beautifully on the vine. Here's to a safe and bountiful 2024 harvest season! 🍾 #WineIndustry #Winemaking #Viticulture

This year, we refreshed our strategy and launched our ambitious new vision to be the world's most desirable luxury wine company. It was great to have President of Treasury Americas, Benjamin Dollard, share his insights with Dr. Liz Thach, MW, for Forbes recently about how we're bringing the vision to life and driving our strategic agenda by focusing on our global portfolio of luxury and premium brands, innovation, consumer experiences, partnerships, and sustainability. In his conversation, Ben shares how we've achieved strong results, supported by the strategic acquisitions in our Treasury Americas portfolio – namely the DAOU and Frank Family wineries – and how maintaining a consumer lens has helped us understand how consumers want to engage with TWE and our brands. "As a leader, I have the opportunity to play a part in creating a more inclusive society, and I have a responsibility to use my platform to make a difference – even if it’s in a small way”, said our CEO, Tim Ford, at the LGBTQIA Leadership Summit hosted by The Leadership Institute (ANZ) in Sydney last week. Opening the two-day conference, Tim shared his views on how our culture of inclusion has built an environment where people feel safe, wanted, connected and confident. Embracing difference is the right thing to do, but it also makes good business sense: people perform at their very best when they’re part of a team that reflects the community it serves.   And for one of our most popular wine brands, the irreverent Squealing Pig, celebrating the diversity of the LGBTQIA community is second nature, having partnered with the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras since 2022. The brands Pride labels were developed in collaboration with our TWE Pride employee resource group and Pride in Diversity. Gearing up to the coming summer, here’s a look back on Squealing Pig’s last Summer of Love 🌈👇 #Inclusion #Diversity #Pride

We’re incredibly proud that this year, Frank Family Vineyards has installed more than 800 solar panels on its property, generating at least three quarters of its electricity needs – including powering the winery, tasting room and new hospitality space, The Miller House. This year marks its third vintage powered by 100% renewable electricity and with its recent solar array installation, the winery is shifting from purchasing clean electricity and supporting the renewables market to generating its own, adding more renewable power to the grid. The remaining 25% of Frank Family’s electricity needs will continue to be met through MCE Deep Green. The shift to renewable electricity at Frank Family Vineyards contributes to our global commitment to sustainability with our ambitious goals for 100% renewable electricity by the end of 2024 and net zero direct carbon emissions by 2030 (scope 1 and 2). Last week, the South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA) celebrated leaders in environmental management and workplace health and safety practices as part of their annual SAWIA Excellence Awards. We'd like to congratulate our very own Christian D. for being recognised as the 2024 SAWIA Work, Health & Safety Excellence Award Individual Champion!   That's not all – Christian was a finalist in the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Award category for our 2024 TWE Annual Awards. The category recognises individuals across our organisation leading the way in creating a safer and healthier workplace for us all.   These awards recognise Christian’s leadership and passion for wellbeing. On top of his day-to-day role, Christian recently developed and introduced monthly wellbeing sessions that are open to our team across TWE, focusing on practical approaches to encourage mental wellness and foster wellbeing.   When asked about the recognition, he said, "I felt overjoyed and honoured to be nominated in these awards, as it reflected the positive reception of my efforts to share insights that have profoundly impacted me. It’s incredibly meaningful to be part of an organisation that encourages us to bring our whole selves to work and has a culture that has enabled me to share with others which has been so beneficial in my life.   "This recognition has further motivated me to continue with the initiative, and I’m so excited to refine and improve the delivery of the wellness sessions to benefit even more team members."   Well done, Christian! An absolute champion of the TWE DNA. 👏 #Health #Safety #Wellbeing

Today we celebrate Grenache – a very special varietal that's thrived in the soils of South Australia's Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale since the 1840s and has been a part of the Penfolds winemaking story equally as long. It first played an important role as a component of Penfolds fortified blends, including those crafted by Mary Penfold.   The Penfolds family migrated to Adelaide in 1844, planting grape vines around The Grange Cottage at Magill. Like other early settlers, they felt that Grenache had the potential to thrive, and they were right – the varietal flourished during the region’s earliest viticultural days, aided by the warm and dry Mediterranean-style climate.    Today, the Barossa Valley is one of Penfolds most important wine regions and remains the heartland of Australia’s finest Grenache. Happy International Grenache Day! 🍇   #InternationalGrenacheDay #Wine #Winemaking
