[REALISATION] 📍 Catlemaine, Australie Dans cette ville du nord de l'état de Victoria, les températures peuvent grimper jusqu'à 45°C 🌡 Ces fortes chaleurs 💦 représentent un réel enjeu pour les constructeurs et les particuliers afin de bâtir des habitations qui permettront d'apporter un confort thermique aussi en période estivale. 👉 The Hemp Building Company, une entreprise spécialisée dans le béton de chanvre en Australie, a été choisie pour accompagner un client sur la création d'une habitation #biosourcée et bioclimatique. La structure de ce logement, a été réalisée en poteau-poutre bois et enveloppée à l'aide d'une isolation en #bétondechanvre banché de 30 cm. Composée de #chènevotte et de VICAT | Ciment Prompt, cette isolation #biosourcée, grâce à son inertie et son déphasage thermique, permet de répondre aux enjeux de confort thermique aussi bien en hiver qu'en été. An awesome feature on our clients Neil and Carol who are currently on their hempcrete house journey! Installing hempcrete is no easy job, and these two have been doing an amazing job. For some background, Neil and Carol have been building their home. Not project managing, not just being a client, but literally getting their hands dirty. The hempcrete walls you see in the pictures, Neil and Carol built them. By hand. They mixed, poured and tamped those walls in. Also love that a lot of the hempcrete will remain exposed.
