"Daylight robbery…the gas industry is not paying royalties, (and) not paying petroleum resources rent tax for offshore LNG exports" – ACT Senator David Pocock. "We need to get that money and use it for good, instead of allowing multinational companies to take that money overseas," – Dr Monique Ryan MP. Read the great write-up from Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) from our press conference with Senator David Pocock & Dr Monique Ryan MP. Six out of ten LNG export facilities in Australia pay no royalties to state or federal governments, including major projects in WA and the Northern Territory. It is time for the gas industry to pay its fair share. #auspol #climate https://lnkd.in/gXdwvpXs

Our billboard truck visited Chevron’s office to remind Western Australians whose fault it will be if there is a gas shortage in WA. Chevron exports vast amounts of WA’s gas which they get royalty free…and rarely pay tax. Western Australians are getting ripped off. #auspol
