To mark this year’s United Nations Global Goals Week, the Sydney Opera House invites you to 'Can Culture Help Build a Better World?', a special event livestream featuring emerging arts leaders and recipients of the 2023-24 Lloyd Martin Travelling Scholarship! 👏 Taking place in the Utzon Room, the event features panellists Anna Yanatchkova (Sydney Opera House) and Joanna Erskine (Bell Shakespeare) who will explore the role of the creative sector in helping to address today’s most pressing challenges, drawing on insights from a recent international study tour during which they met with 60 arts and cultural organisations across Europe and the United States. Both panellists will present their research findings followed by an audience Q&A. The discussion will be livestreamed from 10.30am on Thursday 26 September: https://lnkd.in/gwebwFKQ The Opera House acknowledges the generous support of the Alexandra and Lloyd Martin Family Foundation, which established and has funded the Scholarship since 2014.
