As many of you know, SXiQ was acquired by IBM in 2021 and since then, we've been running as a stand-alone business under the IBM umbrella. But not anymore. Over the last few months, we've been working with IBM on an integration to bring the two businesses together. We are excited to announce that we are now fully integrated into IBM's Hybrid Cloud Services and instead of operating as two entities, we have brought the power of SXiQ and IBM together to help deliver faster, smarter, better cloud transformations for our customers. After seven fun and highly successful years as SXiQ, we're ready for a new adventure. While it's a big transition, some things won't change at all. Our team will continue to deliver complex application and infrastructure transformation in the cloud, cost optimisation of the cloud and DevOps engineering enablement of cloud ops teams, whilst also allowing our customers the benefits of IBM’s broad capabilities around ERP systems, Data & Analytics, Machine Learning & AI. We'd like to thank all of our customers, business partners and team (past and present) for their support over the years, it's been an incredible journey together. 35% improvement in uptime and a 30% reduction in IT support costs are just two of the many benefits enjoyed by Orica, one of the world’s leading mining and infrastructure solutions providers, who underwent a cloud migration project with SXiQ. Orica was operating with aging IT infrastructure that was driving operational costs up and creating compliance and outage risks. They needed to significantly simplify and reduce ongoing IT hosting costs and service complexity, whilst accelerating their ability to innovate quickly across business units globally. In less than 15 months, SXiQ migrated Orica from multiple legacy data centres around the world to a cloud native environment that delivered on their cloud-first strategy. This project has delivered a 100% exit from five legacy datacentres across the globe, enabling the Orica team to drive transformation at a much greater pace, while reducing IT costs and complexities.
