This Stiebel Eltron hydronic heating installation was completed recently in Deakin ACT by the Dawson Hydronics team. The design incorporated 2 cascaded Stiebel Eltron air sourced heat pumps (WPL25AC) dedicated to providing the homes underfloor heating via a 400L buffer tank. Each heat pump is designed to provide a rated heat capacity at 14.0kw, with a COP of 5.09, providing an extremely efficient home heating solution. Heating distribution is via 3 Stainless Steel Auspex manifolds, with zoning to enable independant temperature control in each zone. Nothing beats the heat provided by underfloor slab heating, and when paired with these high efficiency heat pumps, the homeowner has the ultimate comfort solution to meet the demands of Canberra frosty winters.
