Introducing our Senior Associate Lex Yuan Lex graduated with his Master’s degree from USYD and has worked in offices in Sydney and Shanghai. He believes strongly in research as a design tool, as each project bears its unique set of contextual issues. For Lex, a critical analysis into the specificities of site, program, scale and function is essential to creating design work. Since joining SRH Architecture in 2015, Lex successfuly delivered several complex projects. He has been focusing on all aspects of high-end residential and mixed-use developments. SRHA had the opportunity of developing the master plan for the future Dubbo Healthcare Campus. Our proposal lays out a long-term vision to create a leading medical precinct that complements the adjoining Dubbo Base Hospital and benefits the wider Dubbo and regional community. Highlights include six stages of buildings surrounding a central civic space with: day surgery, professional consulting rooms and ancillary supporting uses of limited retailing, education focusing on healthcare-based training, office premises, seniors living, respite day care centre and childcare centre. #DubboHealthcareCampus #CommunityHealth #FutureDevelopment #srharchitecture #architecture

The Clermont A luxury residential apartment building comprising four individual townhouses located to the West of the site and seven apartments situated in a separate building to the East. The proposal reads as a 1-2 storey development from the street elevation and falls with the site to become three storeys at the rear. SRHA is pleased to announce a recent DA approval for a cutting-edge, olympic-sized ice rink and commercial facility in Wolli Creek. This significant milestone comes after extensive consultations and reviews with Bayside Council and the Design Excellence Panel. Our project aims to rejuvenate a disused commercial site by transforming it into a vibrant community hub. It will not only provide state-of-the-art facilities for athletic training and recreational activities but also serve as a gathering place for social activity in this rapidly developing neighbourhood. Inspired by the industrial heritage of the area, our design features textured folded screens that play with light and shadow, creating a dynamic visual experience that echoes activities within. Wyvern Hospital is in its final stage of construction and we are very excited to share some photos of its most recent progress! Situated on four hectares of vegetated land on Myoora Road, the hospital comprises eighty-four beds and six operating theatres. It will provide high-end surgery and therapy treatment for people with cardio, vascular, spinal and orthopaedic needs. An extensive planning and community consultation process was undertaken as part of the project's approval stages. Our commercial architects provided urban design services and coordinated a vast group of specialist consultants, town hall-style presentations, and focus group meetings to achieve all necessary statutory approvals for this complex project in less than twelve months.
