Nitrogen #fertiliser production was a pivotal invention of the 20th century, increasing crop yields around the globe. While fertiliser contributes significantly to feeding the world's population, its production is also responsible for 2-3% of global #GHGemissions. Nitronic is delivering a solution by producing nitrogen fertiliser without fossil fuels, hydrogen generation, high energy inputs and GHG emissions. When I applied for the Telstra muru-D accelerator program in 2019, Alan Jones asked me why I wanted to do it, especially at the same time as the SparkLabs Cultiv8 accelerator. My answer was that Telstra would give us the market reach and access to technology experts while Cultiv8 would help us build connectivity solutions that meet the needs of farmers and other people in rural and remote areas. Thankfully we were accepted into both programs, a few years later both Telstra and Cultiv8 Funds Management participated in our $12m Series A. This is our next massive milestone.
