The Sparke Helmore Law Scholarship was established in 2023, in honour of our 140-year anniversary. The scholarship, based out of the University of Newcastle Law School, is awarded annually. The intention of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a 4th year Bachelor of Laws (Honours) student, with preference given to applicants from regional or rural locations experiencing financial hardships. The scholarship aims to provide additional opportunities to participate in Work Integrated Learning and mentorship through professional connection to Sparke Helmore.
