Thank you to ArchDaily for the impressive write-up about our 135 King St Project. Completed in 2023, the project saw our SHAPE Sydney Team execute the highly complex process of safely removing the 52-tonne segment of airbridge over King Street in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. In Week 2 of Safe Work Month, we’re focusing on psychosocial hazards. Our mission at SHAPE is to send everyone home safely each day and if possible, somewhat better for the experience. Since 2016, SHAPE has been recognised for its outstanding workplace culture, including the Human Synergistics Australia & NZ Transformation Award and multiple Cultural Sustainability Awards. We are active participants in the Incolink Bluehats Suicide Prevention program. Since 2014, we have maintained our partnership with MATES in Construction through a range of fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns and training programs, including equipping team members with suicide prevention and intervention skills. We continue with our efforts to break the stigma surrounding mental health and contribute to saving lives. We support our team with resources like the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) because when we care for each other, we thrive together. 💪 #SHAPEAustralia #MentalHealth #PsychosocialSafety #ConstructionWellbeing #MatesInConstruction #Bluehats #SafeWorkMonth

Introducing the stunning transformation at 101 Miller Street, North Sydney! Our SHAPE Sydney team delivered the construction, fitout, and commissioning of a grand entrance lobby for Mirvac’s premium-grade office building. With abundant greenery, luxurious finishes, and a direct link to North Sydney station via Greenwood Plaza, this new hub is set to be the beating heart of the area. The project includes a new café catering to tenants, commuters, and locals, as well as state-of-the-art meeting and training rooms available to all. The lobby, inspired by a modern, art-deco design, breathes new life into the building while retaining the charm of natural travertine stone tiles. Bespoke furniture and custom joinery create collaborative workspaces, and external enhancements tie the space together with the accessible terrace overlooking Greenwood Plaza. This project brings new life to 101 Miller Street, transforming it into a vibrant and dynamic destination! Kudos to all involved for the stunning results, Mirvac, Curzon Partners, TSA Riley, NDY, TTW Congratulations to the SHAPE project team: Rob Patrick, Ben Tams, Luke Josifov, Ollie Barron Photography: Pixel Collective Pty Ltd #SHAPEAustralia #SHAPESydney #Mirvac #101MillerStreet #Lobby

We’re thrilled to have played a key role in the new Allianz Adelaide HQ at One Festival Tower. The design truly highlights Allianz’s focus on flexible workspaces, efficient space planning, and employee wellness. Our custom-crafted staircase, which connects two floors, features striking timber treads, minimalist black handrails, and subtle LED lighting, adding a touch of elegance to the office. By collaborating closely with the team from the start, we ensured every detail met the high standards of Allianz, delivering a result that blends form and function beautifully. 🔗 Read more about this project here: https://lnkd.in/gkDqfpFu Designer | Architectus Builder | SHAPE Australia Developer | Walker Corporation Photography & Videography | Pixel Collective Pty Ltd #ActiveMetal #Allianz #Adelaide #OfficeDesign #HybridWork #StairDesign #ConstructionExcellence #TimberStaircase

When you think SHAPE, do you think heavy structural remediation? Well, now you can. Last month, the SHAPE Australia Newcastle team completed 3,000m2 of carbon fibre slab strengthening at the University of Newcastle's HERB (Heath Education and Research Building) – Callaghan Campus. SHAPE was engaged through a Design and Construct contract, and with our partners at Slabtec Pty Ltd were responsible for designing a fire-proof, carbon fibre laminate, wrap and steel plate strengthening system installed to an existing suspended concrete slab. Some material stats from the install: - 4.4Tns of epoxy resin - 2.5km of carbon fibre Wrap - 0.5km of carbon fibre Laminate - 1.2km of 12mm Steel plates - 6,000 high Tensile Steel Anchors installed - 6,000 full depth slab penetrations - 7,000 labour hours - Not as many mosquito bites as you would think Thank you to the University of Newcastle’s Infrastructure & Facilities Services team and Loyalty Management Solutions for fostering a collaborative team environment, enabling us to tackle each complex situation that arose from this unique and exciting opportunity.
