This Sunday is International Day of People with Disabilities where we celebrate and recognise the contributions and achievements of people with disabilities. We also want to raise awareness about the barriers they face and work towards creating a more inclusive and accessible world. People with disabilities should have equal opportunities to live fulfilling lives and reach their full potential. Here are 5 simple ways you can support people living with disabilities: 1. Listen - listen to the experiences and perspectives of people with disabilities and respect their opinions and needs 2. Advocate - raise awareness about the challenges faced by people with disabilities and advocate for their rights and inclusion in society. 3. Accommodate - make your workplace more accessible for people with disabilities, for example, installing ramps or adding audio descriptions to videos. 4. Educate - educate yourself and others about disability and work to break down the stigma and misconceptions surrounding it 5.
