Shout out to The CREW Rockingham for the amazing work they’re doing in the community! Since July 2019, they’ve distributed 119,668kg of rescued food from SecondBite, providing 160 hampers and essential services to those in need. WA State Manager Lyndon recently visited their premises to explore their potential as a hub agency. With their dedication and reach, they could become a key part of our WA Hub model, distributing rescued food to more local charities and people in need. We are incredibly grateful to partner with the amazing team at We are Community Inc, who are making a real difference in so many lives. ❤️ Through our partnership, they've been able to receive over 21,110kg of rescued food from Coles and SecondBite since the start of 2024—transforming it into meals that nourish and support those who need it most. Their dedication is truly inspiring, serving an incredible 3500 meals each week through programs like their Saturday breakfast with Orange Sky, school lunch packs, community pantry meal kits, and so much more.
