We're thrilled to celebrate the winners of our recent Push-Up Challenge – a huge round of applause for Unit 4 at RCT Kewdale! A massive thank you to all 71 RCT staff who participated – together, we achieved an incredible 144,994 push-ups! Your dedication to this challenge was truly inspiring. Another great news story about a mining company implementing RCT’s state-of-the-art, agnostic technology to safeguard its operators on site.   Capcoal Mine has implemented RCT’s Teleremote technology on its existing Komatsu 457 dozer operating at its open pit coal operation in Central Queensland.    “This solution really does eliminate exposure to a well-known hazard that the coal industry has been struggling to find a solution to,” said RCT Account Manager, John Capehart.   “It was a major step to eliminate risk.”   Well done, Capcoal Mine! #Mining #RCT #Safety #Coal #Technology #MiningTechnology #Agnostic

20 years ago, Phill Dean started with RCT in our Customer Service department as a Field Service Technician.   With a background as an Automotive Electrical Engineer, he worked in the Pilbara with BHP for over a decade before relocating to a Perth-based role where he could utilise his background and experience in mining to the next working challenge.   After several years of field service works included as a Certified RCT Trainer, he transitioned across to RCT’s Industrial Group where the focus was on providing safety solutions to the emerging Industrial market. It was here where he used his skills to help to develop a multitude of solutions.   After about four years, Phill moved into a sales role a RCT where he still works today. As a Key Account Manager, Phill is in charge of clients in Perth, South West, Mid West, Pilbara, Kimberley, Northern Territory and South Australia regions.   Phill says he enjoys his role and interacting with people, seeing the variety of mining sites effectively managing technology issues, safety, or production with a fit-for-purpose solutions.   “The changing dynamics of technology and enabling business groups to be at the forefront of effective utilisation to drive productivity and safety is especially rewarding,” said Phill.   Thanks for all your hard work over the last few decades, Phill!
