In partnership with the AFL - Australian Football League and TreadLightly, Rebel launched the reboot your boots campaign , with the shared goal of supporting communities in need whilst helping to inspire Australians to chase their sporting dreams and passion. The initiative leveraged key AFL events such as Gather Round, to encourage rebel customers and AFL fans to donate their pre loved boots, which were cleaned and sorted by tread lightly, before being donated during Sir Doug Nicholls Round to the Ltyentye Apurte (Santa Teresa) community in the Northern Territory. rebel also provided over $1,000 worth of footy equipment to further support the cause. #rebelsport #sportiscalling #reuserecycle #AFL

Today we have launched our new Sport is Calling campaign, that builds on our Sport is Calling brand platform established in 2020. This campaign showcases our belief that when someone answers the call of sport, incredible change can happen.   This is why we advocate for the transformative power of sport. Our GM eCommerce & Marketing, Rosemary Martin comments: “Brendan and Sinead’s stories demonstrate rebel’s belief that sport can be the catalyst for incredible change and growth in our lives. Not just physically, but mentally too”. Developed with our partners from The Monkeys and inspiring Australians nationally, this integrated campaign will run across owned, earned and paid media and features the incredible stories of two everyday Australians whose lives have been transformed when they answered the call of sport. The rebel #City2Surf official training program, powered by adidas and 98 Training launched this week, with an amazing turn out for our first live training session on Sunday!   This year the 14-week program is available to download on the rebel x 98 Training app and is accompanied by training sessions every Sunday at 8am, in Moore Park, Sydney.   The program, developed by the team of experts at 98 Training, caters to both the seasoned runner as well as those just starting out and aims to help participants smash goals, gain confidence, improve technique and meet like-minded people.   Download and join the community: https://lnkd.in/ghUn5B8x   #rebelsport #city2surf #running #runclub #sportiscalling
