Thank you to Institute of Healthcare Engineering, Australia, and all presenters for putting on an inspiring and informative WA state conference last week with so many fantastic presentations and conversations held. A special mention to our own Sam Davis who provided an entertaining and engaging presentation on adaptive reuse in healthcare, with a focus on one of our great projects: Perth Day Hospital. We are proud to be working with Perfect Practice on this innovative and visionary project which will see an existing bowling alley transformed into a state-of-the-art Class 9b Day Hospital.

Great to see another great Plexus project come to life!
This week, we moved into our new studio! Our Perth office is now located at Level 3, 242 Murray Street, Perth WA 6000, within the iconic Commonwealth Bank building. After being in West Perth for over 50 years, the team are settling in nicely and are excited for our new CBD location. Over the past few months, we have dedicated the time and energy into creating a space that supports our collaborative style and reflects the Hunt brand – a dynamic environment that our team can take pride in. A big thank you to PrimePrivate and our delivery partners Centuria Capital Group, Plexus Engineers & West to West Group for bringing our vision to life. We’re very proud of our new space and cannot wait to share it with our valued partners and collaborators. If you’re in the area, please feel free to pop in and say hello. #HuntArchitects #WeAreHunt #Architecture #MasterPlanning #Interiors

We are thrilled to be partnering with Silver Thomas Hanley, Bridge42 and St John of God Health Care to deliver a new ICU ward and theatre storage upgrades at Mt Lawley Hospital. Plexus are providing Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic services on this great project which is anticipated to open in the first half of 2025. It’s especially satisfying to see an existing facility being repurposed and given a new lease on life, and we can’t wait to see it come to fruition over the coming months.

Last week we had our first staff engagement session where we discussed our goals and values to get ideas on how we can improve internally as well as externally in order to serve our clients better. Here’s the team mid-session before the office was taken over by post-it notes. We’re excited to put the ideas into practice going forward!
