Our Story In 2015, Playbk Sports founders, good mates Damian Hecker and Jon Shepherd, set out to build an education experience without compromise. They were tired of clunky PowerPoint Presentation, outdated PDF documents and people in regional areas missing out. So, they sourced the best technology and built the most immersive online experience they could imagine – Improving Sport for People with an Intellectual Disability – and since then, they’ve built even more eLearning experiences that stand up to technology demands and needs of modern learners in sports. Today, we’re trusted by the biggest teams in sport, including the National Football League (NFL) and clients across the Australian Football league (AFL), National Rugby League (NRL), National Basketball League (NBL) as well as AusCycling and Special Olympics Australia who form part of a global movement for people with an intellectual disability. What's in a name? Plenty. When we started Playbk Sports we wanted our brand to speak to sport, showcase creativity and be inclusive of our mindset. We took inspiration from behemoths like FedEx and Baskin Robbins who have clever nods to their core business hidden inside their logos. Hence, our logo has the 'double o' (of playbook) inside the 'b' which of course spells - playbook. The two o's (always on offence) is a nod to the classic coaches playbook and the importance of structure, strategy, planning and execution in sport. A couple of things close to our heart - Jon Shepherd. We thought it might help if we produced a quick public service announcement to explain how you actually pronounce Playbk Sports 😃 #brand #identity

Data. So much exists. So little time to absorb and make sense of it. It's why we do the heavy lifting for our client roster, allowing them to focus on their day job! As a snapshot example, in July the Gold Coast SUNS had... 👨🎓 👩🎓 336 new registrations on SUNS Learning - the equivalent of a medium sized primary school. That's a lot of potential learning and impact using the SUNS unique expertise. ⏳ 119 hours engagement time - roughly the equivalent of 40 AFL matches broadcast end to end. A long time for eyeballs to be on the SUNS and their corporate partners brand. 💻 4 course completions - an opportunity exists to support and encourage teachers and students to work through the 6 week courses (Play to Your Strengths / SUNS Fitness) during term 3. #Data. Just one part of Playbk Sports MSaaS model designed to save time and deliver better results.
