Today is World Game Day! It comes as no secret that Plastic Wax is filled to the brim with passionate gamers - and we couldn't be more proud of that. As videogames continue to become more immersive and cinematic than ever before, our personal devotion to games - combined with our film industry know-how - puts us at the top of the leaderboard when it comes to making trailers. Since opening our doors nearly 28 years ago we have had the privilege to create a number of trailers, in-game cutscenes, assets, and key art for our friends in the videogame industry. Those numbers include 160 trailers for 80 franchises (at least the ones we can talk about 😉); 27 of those trailers have won 42 international awards between them for their animation and storytelling. There's nearly 300,000,000 combined views on the trailers we have worked on. We've even dabbled in the development of 4 videogames. None of this could have been done without the inspiration that videogames have given our artists - their passions shaped them both personally and professionally.
